Ruth receives a top award for her risk management work

Ruth Murray Webster HonFAPM

Earlier this week, Ruth and I attended a black tie Awards ceremony in central London. Why? The Association for Project Management (APM) has given Ruth an honourary fellowship, which is a top award for outstanding achievement. They specifically mentioned her contribution to risk management, which of course includes the work that this blog relates to. Here you can see her receiving her award from Tom Taylor, APM President.

I’m delighted! After all, I nominated Ruth a few months ago and my nomination was supported by Dr David Hillson (known as the Risk Doctor), who wrote the foreword for our book.

Here’s another picture of Ruth celebrating with friends. As you can see it was a wonderful evening and we were all delighted to see Ruth’s work recognised so publically:

You can find the announcement from the APM here.
